The Holy Angel Sr. Sec. School Doiwala held the ‘HOLY FIT MARATHON ‘ on Saturday on the Theme ‘SAY NO TO DRUGS’.

The Marathon was jointly flagged off by Holy Angel School Director Dr. Akash Kusum Bachheti, the incharge of the Lal Tappar Police Station and School Principal John David Nanda.

Around 600-700 students took part in the Marathan in the various categories.

The distance was 2km for sub-juniors, 4km for juniors, 6km for interns and 8km for the seniors.  The Marathon started from Mazri Chowk and passed through Pal Mohalla, Shergarh Road and culminated in the school campus.

Anshuman stood first, Siddhi claimed the second position in the class 1^st – 3^rd age group. In the class 4^th – 5yh age group, the first position was bagged by Yogesh and Pallavi stood in the second position.

In the class 7^th – 9^th group, Pradeep stood first and Anuradha claimed the second position.

In the class 10^th – 12^th group, Ashutosh, Mohit, Zoya and Anisha secured their medals.

School Director Dr. Akash Kusum Bachheti and School Principal John David Nanda wished the bright future to the students. The teachers and staff members of the school also contributed in making the Marathon a success.
